Whether that means participating in accelerated academics; exploring engaging electives like rhetoric, creative writing, journalism, or theater; finding their musical gifts through a variety of choirs, bands, or orchestras; learning how to move their body in athletics, physical education, or Junior Cadet Corps; or serving in the community through the student mentor program, National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, or United Voices for Change; the mission of McLean Middle School is to empower students to dare to be different by daring to be themselves.
