McLean Middle School provides a proactive, comprehensive counseling program for students. Our counseling office provides:

What does a Counselor Do?

  • Promotes positive attitudes and choices

  • Helps identify needs of students 
  • Works with individuals and groups 
  • Available in times of crisis 
  • Coordinates referrals to outside agencies 
  • Coordinates efforts with other school specialists 
  • Assist school staff and parents in helping students to become successful 
  • Supports students in achieving a positive educational experience
